Stamp It Stomp It will return soon! ( Check out last year's SISI here. )

BKA

Starts Wednesday, 16:00 British Summer Time.

Last year the comp lasted 3 months, so to keep it shorter this year, there will be 8 rounds, each with a 4-day time limit. (A ninth tie-breaker round will be applied if necessary.)

Stamp It. Stomp It. (SISI) is an online kendama competition with the aim of you really showing off your own style and having the freedom to incorporate your favourite tricks.

PRIZES
- A Royal SuperNatural (Thanks Royal Kendama!)
- A KendamaUSA Kaizen (Thanks Void!)
- The fun of taking part ( <-- All entrants will win this prize. ;) )
The winner chooses their prize, with the remaining prize going to the person voted as the winner of "Best Combo". We may add a third prize (for the runner-up) if enough people enter.

RULES
* Read ALL the rules!
* Perform the tricks for that round in one combo, in any order you like.
* Finish the video by saying "SISI" and showing your kendama to the camera. (Hold STILL for at least 1 second, please.)
* Any transitions between tricks are allowed. Extra tricks are allowed too! You are encouraged to Stamp your own style in the combo as you Stomp It.
* Any recognisable variation of a trick (e.g. grip type) unless specified otherwise, will be accepted.
* Post your video links right here on this thread! (Upload your clip wherever you like - YT, Vimeo, JTV, Instagram, etc - but post the link to your video here.)
* (From Round 2 onwards) When you post your entry, vote for your favourite combo from the previous round. (You can't vote for yourself.)
* Head-mount footage is not okay - we need to see your face in the clip!
* The combo must end with a spiked tama, in any grip.
* No trick (balance) lengths will be timed, however we do expect some degree of control.
* Entries must be completed & posted here before the deadline.
* Video quality has to be adequate, and filmed in landscape or square. NOT portrait.
* Tricks must remain in frame, although we will have some discretion.
* Standard competition sized, wooden kendamas only. (Sorry, no oversizes like LBB, Musou, Prime, Pop, etc etc. Trying to keep the comp on a level playing field.)
* No cuts or editing (including slow-mo) during your combos.

Notes
-Each round will be approximately 4 days long.
-One entry per person round. But if your entry is rejected, you may re-enter if you are still before the deadline.
-Any person in the competition has the right to dispute a trick.
-Referee ( @The Void ) has the final say on any decision.
-If only one player posts a video in a round, second place will go to the person that posted first in the previous round

Going to miss a round due to work/holiday/exploding computer? Don't worry, you can miss one round of the competition, however you must post the missed round along with the video for the following week. That's a one late entry second chance!
:)

After each round the players will vote for their favourite; the top voted video of each round will go into the final where one last vote on will happen to find the overall winner.

Best Combo voting rules:
# (From Round 2 onwards) Any videos posted will not be accepted until AFTER that contestant has voted.
# you can only vote if you're still in the competition or voting in the final.
# you can only vote for one person - not for yourself!
# your vote should be based on skill, creativity or originality
# you do not have to give a reason for your vote unless asked to by the referee
# Late entries can not be voted for
# The round winner will be announced at deadline -  no late votes.
# if only 2 people are in the competition the referee will vote
# your vote should be posted alongside your next video entry.

Good luck!
