So it seems out here in Kelowna Cananda there arent any kendama players at all lots of people ask what it is, and if they can try it for a bit - but no real players at all!

Since its only been the winter since ive been here i have hopes that Canadas Cali sun will draw some faces from the woodwork. If not what are some good ideas an suggestions to get a scene here started! What has worked for you guys and what hasnt?

I gotta get some locals addicted to this game - It makes me quite excited to think that i may become the kendama expert in my locale!

Kendama Okanagan's first steps shall be taken this summer!

Sounds like you're in a similar boat to the milky oolong. It can be frustrating to play on your own, sure, but keep playing, keep being enthusiastic, and always be prepared to teach other people, and let them have a try on your kendama. You'll get there!
