Hi all - I had a little time yesterday so I put together my first kendama edit :)
It's not something I've done before but having spent a really brilliant week at kendama camp and the EKO I thought it was about time I gave it a go!
I took about an hour and a half (during which - thanks to the reliably unpredictable weather in Yorkshire, I experienced blazing sunshine, wind, rain and dark skies!) and put the results together afterwards.
Nothing mind boggling here but I'm really enjoying playing at the moment and I hope I've captured some of the simple pleasure of spending an enjoyable afternoon with a kendama.
:)

Nice one, Kev. I spotted a few trick-influences from the week in there, and enjoyed watching you have fun. Last trick was an unexpected treat. :-)
Keep it up!
Liking the ken grip variation on my pivot lunar, and the flying top slip grip tap.
Nice to see all these influences in one video.
And BOOM for that last one :)
You're one cool customer in the last one! And the flying top slip tap was cool too, very creative

Nice video! The bese edits are the ones where you are having fun :)
The trick at 1:24 is one I was considering for my own edit, nicely done! And the last one is so... BAM!
Thanks
@shalafi - :) I name checked you for sharing that trick with me in my previous post. (1:34 I think you mean?)
I like it a lot, I think it goes nicely with the -
Swing to Small Cup String Pull> Earth Turn >Flying Top > Base Cup Grind > Spike trick (at 0:45).
Nice one Kev: some interesting variations in there, and your elation after the final trick was great!! Thanks for making and sharing!
@Kev I actually meant the pinwheeled stopover to wrap to lunar, which we both learned from
@Dimensions, I can't take credit for that one.
The other one, the secret grip spike > Flying top tap in is also very cool, I can take credit for that :) Thanks for the mention.
