Title: JKA membership?
Post by: LarsVegas on 17 August, 2011, 16:33:02
Hi,

is anybody in this forum a JKA member? To my understanding, examinations are only available to JKA members. Now that there are to Dan bearers, I wonder if the two are JKA members.

I have not joined the JKA. It's not something I thought to ask about.

I did some research last year, everyone can get a member,
you pay around the 40 pounds, and you only get 1 or 2 newsletters a year and a member card.
And you get 10% discount in the JKA store, on the same site.

If you want to go to Japan, and thinking about getting a Dan or do a competition , then you have to be a member first.
