Do you all know about the "Quick Reply" feature? If you are viewing a thread, scroll to the bottom of the page, where you can compose a reply without re-loading the page. You can still use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post.
If you are typing in the Quick Reply box, and suddenly realise you need to use some of the format buttons, no problem! - Just click the Preview button, and a new page will pop up with the full posting options, and including everything that you've already typed.
