Hey guys. I've been lookin around for a new kendama. I was looking at mainly wood kendamas. Almost settled on a Krom deluxe, but came across a KenUsa Padauk Proto. They said theyre coming out with a new revised version later in the year, and I'm wondering if I should wait till then, or get the prototype.
Padauk is a nice looking wood, but then so are some of the Kroms. I haven't tried out one of those protos, but people seem to like 'em, from what I hear. But then again, it depends how patient you are prepared to be.
