Title: Moth Eaten
Post by: The Void on 25 July, 2019, 14:01:37
The third in the trilogy, following Weather-Worn Wood Worries (https://kendama.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=3049.0) and Xylem Friday (https://kendama.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=3216).

And there will be no more by the looks of it... unless it is a prequel

It looks like it was quite sticky, or maybe just the players were too good.

It's both really nice and exceptionally awkward to play!

Just got round to watching this.  The daylight coming through the cracks is great. Sad to see it gone; a few coats of yacht varnish might have saved him :)  And yes, time to plant another one, surely....

Cheers chaps. The original idea of the experiment was to see how well the kendama aged when exposed to the elements. Result: "interestingly", but not "well". I suppose a nicely aged kendama would have to be exposed to the air and temperature changes, but perhaps protected from direct sunlight and rain. I'll let someone else do that one...
