I was wondering if there was a way to keep your cup edges sharp like how you can keep the spike of a kendama sharp.

play gently!!! lol.. i have tried gluing them like you would the spike (after the wore quite a bit) and it was just a bad idea... made balance tricks so impossible... and the glue cameoff rather quickly which i was actually thankful for...haha but other than that ive got nothin!

I dropped a spacewalk over concrete and put a big dent in the edge of the base cup. Ended up doing some precision dremel work and made it good again. Couldnt even do lighthouses on it, it would tilt on axis because of the dent.
