fun with hybrids

Been having a blast putting together hybrid kendamas, mixing and matching tamas, kens and strings. So far my faves include these three--a Sweets marble on an Ozora ken; a BLK metallic blue on a Shin Fuji keyaki ken (did you even know there was such a thing!?); and a good ol' TK16 ken with a Sweets Homegrown maple tama! tied together with a purple Ozora string, of course. It is amazing how you can renew your enthusiasm for kendama by just swapping parts! (And if you're wondering what the Homegrown ken now sports, think Sweets Pro line...)
