Hello Everyone, I was wondering about keeping kendama in there package. does doing that hold there value more? or does it not matter?

Thanks!

Thorny

Yes and no. I don't see a problem with buying a kendama that has been taken out of package but it still unused.
IMHO, I think the value only decreased when you play it - there's nothing wrong with having it as an ornament on your mantle piece/shelf.

It's entirely up to you. But if you are going to keep one in the packet, then you are effectively investing your money in it going up in value. Obviously, if you kept back a Mugen a few years ago, you made a wise investment, but the trouble is, most of us aren't clairvoyant enough to know which kendamas will become collectors' items in the future!

Good luck with your investment decisions!
If you don't want to BUY MY BOOKS 😉, then why not ask your local library to order them in, and read them for free? That would help too. Cheers!
