I'm definitely in. That is a very pretty part of almost London.

Oh, just realised I will be away for this :( Next year!
That's a shame. Oh well. Hopefully the London location will mean quite a few players can show up....
Video for Beginner and Intermediate ladder now added to http://www.kendama.co.uk/src2012.html (http://www.kendama.co.uk/src2012.html)
Please note the Intermediate ladder is a Speed ladder. Advanced ladder is the same as the 2012 BKO Advanced.

Hopefully. We've got someone checking out venues....
Pricing clarification:
£5 is for kendama players whether or not they compete in the competition.
£3 is for all U16s and for non-playing spectators/girlfriends/boyfriends/chauffeurs/parents/etc.
3 weeks to go. Time to step up the practice!
The more people come, the bigger the prize money... And the atmosphere! Bring a friend/beginner/spectator/driver! :D
99% i be there, and finally meet you, guys!

Great! :D See you soon.
We will probably be pushed for time, so opportunities for gradings will be few. Turn up at 11.30 sharp if you want to do a grading.
Announcing the return of...
....Free tea, coffee and biscuits!
There, that should double the numbers... :)
BKA will be trading.

Bring pocket money!
I have dropped off the kendama radar for a while. But dusted off the old war horse as I feel a new spark of life for clicking, especially as this one is actually only an hour away woohooo! I don't suppose there's parking is there which doesn't involve selling the car to pay for it?...
Tranding only with SunRises, or maybe something more?
There is parking space for "about 12 cars" at the hall. Other than that, it should be okay on the surrounding streets (it is a Sunday after all).
Our stock is a range of Sunrises, but perhaps the odd something from Japan.
Blimey, someone woke Matt up! :D See you soon buddy!
The clocks go back on Saturday night - you get an extra hour in bed... Or the chance to amble off and get yourself a coffee after you've turned up too early! :)
Does anyone have a boombox they could bring along? (preferably with a jack socket auxiliary input)
Also, if anyone wants to make a video of the day, that would be great!
Ready to roll.

Please bring fivers and change! If you stop for a coffee on the way - pay with a note. :)

A big thank you to everyone who came (especially Sam, with a heroic hangover). And a big friendly raspberry to anyone who didn't (especially if they said they were going to). Another big thank you to David at Thekendamacompany.com (Sunrise) for kindly supporting the UK scene with his sponsorship once again.
However, due to poor turnout, this is the last SRC the BKA will run.
Thanks a lot Void! I had a great time and it certainly the best thing for my hangover and I came back with far more stuff than I left with... (cup and ball video is definitely to come).
One day I'll get that Kendamatty...
By the way, thanks to everyone who helped judge/score/count/notate/clear up.
It was nice to meet a couple of new players, Kevin & Wiktor - hi guys! See you again sometime.
It was a disappointing turn-out, but I think we all had good fun nonetheless. The pizza was great too. So nearly sold that waiter a kendama... If only I'd had one in my bag. Rookie mistake.
Ooh, Simon came through with some pics:
