Well, this has been a fun year!
So let's vote for our top Kendama players yet again.

Please vote for people who have contributed to 2015, please make it your focus of voting.

Voting rules:
Please vote for up to 10 people (any more will not be counted)
Please do not vote for yourself
Don't vote for teams
Your vote may be for people who have helped out at events, not just to those who have posted loads of videos.
Voting closes on Janurary the 5th. (16:00 GMT)

I will then compile a list of the top 20
I will post my list on the last day of voting

Have fun, and for another year of pure Kendama!
-Rob

A year seems such a long time when you click back through all the postings on the videos group.  Going for ten (in no particular order) who, off the top of my head have done something which made me smile, say what? or simply go back for another look...

Iroki Ijima, Takeshi Komoda, Jake Wiens, Void, Bonz Atron, Talin Crow, Milky Oolong, Rob Henman, Nic Stodd, Joris Schweppe.

And everyone else, of course!  Cheers!

No especial order, and limited to people I've seen playing in person this year:

@donald grant - Never fails to disappoint with new ideas
@Dimensions - Never fails
Hiroki Imada - I felt like I was absorbing kendama knowledge just being near him.
Su - Great guy doing great things for kendama, and a damn fine player too. So glad to see Su-Lab has opened up again.
@cello_91 - Lots of fun to hang out with in Leeds and Tokyo, plus, a string freak!
@Oase - Smart, funny, and (jointly) made the EKO final a killer.
Taku Hatanaka - Just nutso skill level.
@akira tajima - Has so much fun playing, it's infectious. Great tricks too.
Sakura Ono - 2-time world champion. Sooooooo solid, and when it really counts too.
Nic Stodd - This summer was my first time seeing a lot of the "new" American players in person. Tough to only include one of them, and tough to pick, but Nic takes it for me.

Honorable mentions to @bonzatron , @Jak (Handcuffs!) and Ben Herald (to break my rule, but I love his 'grams.)

And if I didn't mention you.... well, heck, you're great too! :)
If you don't want to BUY MY BOOKS 😉, then why not ask your local library to order them in, and read them for free? That would help too. Cheers!

I haven't watched enough videos or go to enough comps this year to have a solid opinion.

I'll drop some names I also put past year.

Void, Rob, Donald, Jake Wiens for the same reasons.

Ok, lets add Dave Matteo for the insane numbers and (Edit: Cooper Eddy) the guy that did the slack balance ? I'll check the name later, but him also.

Hiroki Imada too.

Edit: Haley Bishoff (that makes 8)

Extremely partial, but that's my list so far. I may update it later.

Well, my year is sorted, I"ll take that vote as the trophy itself, thanks!

My vote in no particular order:

Cooper Eddy
Kentaro Arai
Marcel
Void for still seeking
Rolf S Ganer

That's all, folks, unless you play kendama, in which case, you too!
Kendama Berlin
German Kendama Open 2014: 1st Place Speed Trick, 2nd Place Knockout
German Kendama Championships 2015: 3rd Place Speed Trick
KEN FEST Hannover, 2016: 3rd Place KEN Battle
KENDAMA CLASH Berlin 2016: 1st Place Intermediate

My top 10, with reasoning:

Void for everything he does for kendama in general
Rob Henman for his mad skills up close at the BKO and for taking BKO and EKO champ
Alex Ruisch for his wing/penguin/stall madness in the last year
Nic Stodd for pushing the tap game further
Bonzatron for his amazing stuff at Catch & Flow
Jake Wiens for his flowy style and staying rooted in the original kendama culture
Donald Grant for his challenging and quirky contributions to kendama trick lore
Sweets for constantly expanding his kendama catalogue and doing a lot of work for the community.
Satoru Akimoto for his 10 kendama spike and for continuing to keep up with every trick the community comes up with.
Derek Astin for the sheer volume of practice he seems to put in, and his therefore rapidly rising level of play.

Kendama Belgium!

I find it particulary hard to name just 10 people from all the amazing guys i met and played
with last year or know from the internet, so it took me some time...
only 7, as i really could decide with whom to fill the last 3 spots  :o here they are in no order!

the Void (@The Void)
Spend two amazing journeys with this freaky guy and really enjoyed it to the max and he does so much for the community!
Eelco (@s070s)
Got to hang out with this legend in Leeds! So full of creativity that i can't handle it! Know what he wants, and keeps going for it!
Learned some bilboquet style from him!!
Su (from SuLab - is he here on the forum?)
Such a humble, kind and welcoming person! Makes some great damas, is a slayer for sure and pushea a lot of people to
keep progression in Kendama!
Rob (@dimenstions)
Joy, skill and determination can be feeled when beeing next to you! You also taught me some neat tricks, so thank you! :)
Bryan Hansen (is he here?)
You can always find inspiration from this guy and he always pushes his game!
BJ (@BubenikJan)
Met him twice (EKO and DKM) and really enjoyed both times! Such a slayer and great preson.
Mirek (kendama.cz; don't know his tag..)
Also met him twice like BJ. Makes a huge impact on the european kendama scene as you can buy so much international
stuff from him! And on top he does some pretty F***ING amazing handturned kendamas!
