Leicester Kendama Open @ LXG - Feb 28th 2015

[user]BKA[/user] is getting together with [user]jordanfung[/user] to bring you a regional kendama event.


It will be held on the Saturday, as part of the LXG Tricker event.

Saturday day ticket price for "kendama-only" people: £9 (£8 for BKA members who bring their membership card.)
(Trickers who have paid to attend the LXG do not need to pay any extra.)
BKA Members: BRING YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD for entry and stock discounts. No card, no discount!

Doors open 12.45.
Bring a packed lunch/snacks, as there's no catering on site.

DIVISIONS
Speed Ladders: Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced
7 to Spike: 2 divisions
(Games)
Half price Kyu exams.

BEGINNER'S DIVISION SPEED LADDER:
1. Liberty Candle > Unicorn Kneel
2. Aeroplane > Fast Hand Base Cup
3. Big Cup > Orbit > Reverse Orbit

2. Swing In > (grip change to) Trapeze Acrobats > Stab
3. Base Cup > Centrifuge > Dragon Curl > Spike

Cool. Hopefully a few of the UK players who are less active on the forum will manage to make an appearance too.
There will be some prizes, btw. (Not sure exactly what yet.)
Tricklists will be released in January.
If you don't want to BUY MY BOOKS 😉, then why not ask your local library to order them in, and read them for free? That would help too. Cheers!

Nice tricks. I thought stab directly from trapeze was difficult, but stopping on base cup is much easier.

Also, I didn't knew the name of Dragon Curl. It's cool.

Good luck, people! Intermediate trick #2 is more of a line than a good line than a trick, but sure to be fun on the day and under pressure. Destined to be a great event any old way.
