Another dubstep edit. (throws into pile) It's getting increasingly harder to take these seriously.

Hahaha! I used to quite like dubstep (particularly the British brand of it) but as genre du jour it is getting a little overused in videos at the moment. I can cut the video I'm working on to Napalm Death if it please you Greg.
No flash on work computer so I look forwards to watching this when I get home.

Ah, you young people and your genres. Just sounds like "pop music" here.
But anyway, we didn't feature it for the music, rather for the fun and the tricks. As for "taking it seriously".... hmmm, well it's only a kendama video, not a speech to the UN.  :)

haha, dubstep edits... in my opinion dub step can be used in edits, but minimally and appropriately. Listening to ridiculous bass wobbles while watching someone try desperately to balance out a lighthouse is just no good. One of the basics of good editing is understanding the way the audio and video can work together to compliment each other. Dubstep is usually super high energy, high impact music, so if you're going to use it make sure the visuals reflect these same characteristics.

That being said, I always like seeing a new Kendama Squad edit! These guys put out some pretty solid tricks and usually look like they're having a lot of fun. They obviously put some thought into shooting and editing this, overall not a bad edit at all. Cool to see so many doubles tricks.
