Nosegrease–wit or witout?

I've heard some people will rub the oil from their hair and face into their tamas to increase the stickiness. Conversely, Matt Rice told me that Van Rasta buff's his tama's in his shirt before he attempts lunars.

I've never had any particular luck with either method, it seems counter intuitive to build up oil on the surface of the ball. It had occurred to me though that overtime, the paint may absorb some of the oil and become softer and stickier.

Anybody on this? I realize that I've set up a topic where saying oily-balls is going to be somewhat unavoidable....
