London is a city of over 7 million people and people from all over the world are constantly passing through, so I've launched Kendama London in an attempt bring the clickers in the city together and spread the word!
And of course it's London and it's 2012 so: Kendama at the Olympics!!![nb]Olympic park, weekend after the EJC -- Watch out![/nb]

Currently kendama players in can be found regularly at:

Mondays --- 7:30 --- UCL Balls!, North Cloisters, Wilkins Building, UCL, Gower Street, WC1E 6BT (Term-time) (Facebook group here: http://www.facebook.com/groups/338702019479745/)

Meets, battles, jams, comps, videos etc. are currently being planned for 2012 so watch this space!

Always pleased to hear of another kendama group being set up.
Is the UCL club a juggling club? If so, I'm surprised it doesn't have an entry on jugglingdb.com - I suggest you create one for it.

With regards for how to run a club, fak wrote a good article here. Written about juggling clubs, but I suspect it 95% applies to kendama too.

My advice would be give out as much information in as many ways as you can[nb]Although posting each of your links 3 times in that post could be regarded as a tiny bit over-enthusiastic! [/nb], (e g for the Weds club, I'd've offered this link: http://www.jugglingdb.com/clubs/index.php?record=909 ) so use tumblr, facebook, and post here too. Twitter?

Anyway, good job, and hopefully I'll meet up with you for an event sometime.

Thanks Void, I've made the appropriate changes. Balls! is the university juggling society but all are welcome. Not used jugglingdb before I'll pass on the word to the relevant people.

Fun fact: I ran the UCL juggling club for a year, despite never having been a student at UCL. I may even still have the t-shirt.....
