Dear all forum members,

Didn't really want to make a topic out of this but didn't really know where else to post it; since Spikedama I've been taking some time away from kendama and the kendama community. I realized after Spikedama that things had all of a sudden stopped being really fun, mainly due to trying to keep up with the kendama community, with the level of play, with the online competitions and wanting to keep things alive, all this while trying to work three jobs and finish a leather-working apprenticeship in the evenings.

So I might not be around on the forum for a bit, or if so, then sporadically. Thanks for the thought guys about Outlink, but it would just be too much commitment again too soon now. For anyone who is interested I am still playing kendama and still watch community stuff on FB, but I can't be as involved right now as I feel I used to be, and just can't dedicate anywhere near as much time as before.

So more than anything I just wanted to say keep on spankin' it like an insubordinate rufous stepchild, lace it like Doc Marten and do what feels like fun, and I hope you're all well.

Peace (semi) Out,

TMO

Have a time, buddy. Enjoy every sandwich. See ya around....
If you don't want to BUY MY BOOKS 😉, then why not ask your local library to order them in, and read them for free? That would help too. Cheers!

I haven't tried to keep up with the community for a long time myself, I know my level and I know my progression and goals.

But more importantly, if you're not having fun, I agree, it's best to take a step back, and figure out why.

Enjoy life, after all a day only has 24 hours. Hope to see you around, again, eventually.
