Okay, this is a pet hate of mine, and feel free to disagree, but why must videos seemingly ALWAYS be named along the lines of:
Johnny Click Edit #1
? Alright, I admit it's clear in terms of information, but it's pretty dull and unimaginative, isn't it? Come on, people, I challenge you all to name your next video with a touch more flair. Off the top of my head....
Emmental's Holier than my Dama
I Spiked the Moon
Cup of Three
Click This!
Or how about at least a subtitle?:
Johnny Click Edit #3 (Beyond the valley of the ultrastilts)
I'm sure you lot can do better.....
Well I was thinking of calling my first edit
Obama Can't Kendama (Nor can I edit #1)
Ah, but Obama IS 'dama! Obama Kendama (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9HbpeeuR-c#) (1m41)
I totally agree with the video naming thing! And im going to trying to do a kendama video sometime soon. Keep an eye out for a very cool name! :-P
I think it depends. I've made a fair number of edits in the last year, both named 'miniedit x' and otherwise. Our 'miniedit x' type edits are named as such so that viewers can identify with our kendama Edmonton name... But then when we make an edit outside the normal bounds we'll name it something different/creative.
I'm actually going to be filming an edit over the next week or two while I'm on vacation, you've inspired me to come up with a clever name for it haha
A video of mine is called 1 boy 3 cups, its the most watched of my videos, but I feel that its "popularity" is certainly a tale of two halves, as the majority of people who load it up are probably a tad disappointed as the content is not what they had 'oped for...
I for one am certainly with the void on this topic, the higher the sequential number in the title dies not always entail the best tricks or watchability, I would always watch a funny or cinematic kendama video over ten minutes of hammers titled kendama edit 50 filmed in a dark room over techno music. Give me a bloomin heart attack 'twud!
I think i got upto about edit 7 and lost track so i started naming my videos based on content :)
