failed another attempt at 1st Dan. I'm working hard on it for some time but just can't get it right. I don't get my Moshikame up to 200 anymore and today the earth turn didn't work. Still two weeks to go until the grading. Don't know yet whether I try at all.

Not trying is failure. Buck your ideas up, boy! Do your best, that is all. Try.
If you don't want to BUY MY BOOKS 😉, then why not ask your local library to order them in, and read them for free? That would help too. Cheers!

I self-certified myself for 2nd Dan. On the edge for Earth Turns, but all the rest were quite solid.

I didn't film :'( .... Big bird -> one turn to lh -> small bird -> 1 turn to lh -> tradespike!

1-turn lunar, inward lunar, 2-turn airplane, and ONE 2-turn lighthouse with the new grain theory.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i didnt think the wormhole would make that much of a difference. but, it does.
the grain theory ken is different from any other ken ive played. the cups have rounded corners on the bridge, similar to a musou, but not quite as pronounced. the slip-grip ring is slightly higher up on the ken and also a little bit bigger than a JKA. the swoop and deeper base cup give a better lunar balance as well. and, i dont need to mention that grain theories are weighted to perfection. much like an ozora, the weighting difference is within 3 grams between the tama-ken.

after seeing how easier the harder tricks are with the wormhole i am tempted to drill a wormhole in another kendama. however, it really is the entire design of the grain theory ken that makes it play so well. imo, playing with a grain theory is an entire different kendama experience.

Today I practice-passed 6th Dan, and shot some footage for a new tutorial.

Today I:

Landed my first 1-Turn Lunar
Took 1h40min to film an Inward Lunar line
Threw a ken half way across a car-park to be caught by the tama of none other than KendamaEurope's Peter Wimmers...

...and then got escorted off the premises by three bored and irate security guards and one bored but quite docile rottweiler. Interesting day, all in all.

EDIT:

And today I landed:

Aero > Orbited 540(and a bit) Lunar> In
1-Turn Aero > Orbited 540 Tapped In Jumping Stick
Turntable > (Fast Hand) Inward Lunar (?)
Trap Bird > Over the Valley > Turn In

Milky - some of those tricks sound pretty awesome, would live to see them??  (slightly intrigued also why some cups and balls were a volatile enough reason to warrant such a security entourage!)

Today I - wore the glued tip off a keyaki ozora and started with some border balances, including a combo involving a border and an axe...)

Matt, I am happy to say you will see many of them in the up-and-coming first ever Kendama.Berlin Edit (shameless plug), which I will most definitely be uploading to the forum. Now, off to the juggling shop to poke our production team...

Today I got my 2nd ever Stiltwalk (on a standard kendama) while waiting for the kettle.

Around the Cosmos is a thoroughly demanding trick for consistency. Well done shalafi

Just can't help sharing my elation today. Went out this drizzly evening with kendama.berlin's Till and got some techy stuff on the GoPro:

Crane (inspired by all the building work around Berlin) > Forward Whirlwind Spike
Inward 1-Turn Dead Body > Lunar > In
Around the Belfry (a bit of a hint, also quite a nice looking trick)
