Realised where I was going wrong: Believing @Dimensions that it was 450˚.  :P
As soon as I tried 560˚, it was fine[nb]Actual facts may vary.[/nb].

(Audio slightly desynced due to QT trimming. Download original from JTV if that's a problem, please.)

How's that, @KenSan (Jnr)?

No gloopers!
If you don't want to BUY MY BOOKS 😉, then why not ask your local library to order them in, and read them for free? That would help too. Cheers!

KenSan

Just saw this on IG so thought I best come along and say "accepted". Nicely done. Jnr is in bed so will show it to him on the 'morrow.

[Hey, Rob, you deleted your funny post! :/ Oh well.]

Cheers!

Right then, next up:

153. [from Lunar] > (Half Somersault to) Index Trap Inverted Clifftop
[Log in to see attached image]
- Throw the ken up (so the base cup comes up towards you) with a half spin.
- Trap the base cup rim in the ball hole, using only your free hand's index finger.
- Film from the "palm side" of your ken hand.
- Make sure I can see the trap (keep your free hand high so that it's not in line with the camera).

Nice clean trap please - the rim must be fully in the hole.

QuoteRULES
Trick Rules
- You should start the new transition from the finish position of the previous trick. i.e. You can just place the kendama into position. You don't have to do the previous move, but you can if you want to. But if so remember to...
- Hold the start and finish positions of the combo still for a couple of seconds please.
- You must wait to have your attempt verified by the previous setter before setting the next step.
- Use any competition-sized kendama.
- You cannot reply to your own trick.
- You must wait to re-enter until 5 other people have done a combo after you set one.
- Your trick set may end on an active ballance (i.e Candle Balance) but you can use an active ballance in a transition of a trick/set
Video Rules (To help for a nicer compilation video)
- Make sure you have adequate lighting. Please film in daylight if possible. Clips usually look very poor in artificial light.
- Please film in Landscape, not Portrait, not Square.
There is a prize of a Trojka 3 kendama for one random participant between tricks 151-175.
Currently in the draw: KenSan Jnr, The Void.

The Void, KenSan Jnr, Kofi, Jak & Maicodama must sit out this round.

Go!

Not sure this is clean enough in the filming angles department, but here's a shot:

Sorry, @the milky oolong , but I'm looking for the finger to trap the base cup touching only the base cup rim. Your finger is in the space between base rim and slip grip. I've already rejected a couple of attempts in person for this, so I have to stick to my guns. (Otherwise, would have accepted on the shooting, given you came in to camera, but would prefer a closer shot to start with.)

@the milky oolong Well, I mean, you pretty much did it, but

@the milky oolong The trap was a bit obscured by the hand, but I can tell it went straight in with no wiggling. And the close-up helped, so Accepted! Well done, and what's next?
(Edit: And sorry for being a fuss-pot.)
