In the "teaching kendama" thread we were talking about teaching it in circus schools and the probability that you can perform in front of an audience. While I admit that it'll be hard to get a good act together, there is a slight chance.
I think it's similar to bilboquet and there's one really renowned act. Watch!
NUMERO DE BILBOQUET (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcCRSgv1m54#)
Still the Beste Bilbo Act i have ever seen.
i watched it again, because it was 2 years ago when i have seen this for the first time.
The bilbo he Used is made by www.Bilbostyle.com (http://www.bilbostyle.com)
and it is hard to make a performance like this, it is very well builded up.
I've often tried to put together a "performance" for the freestyle segment of the Kengarden Battles an found it nearly impossible. My consistency is not good enough.
It was crazy how he threw the tama way out behind him between his legs! I don't know how it did not fall to the ground!

I suppose it's the same as "floats" with poi. You somehow can do straight horizontal movements if you only are fast enough. But I wholeheartly agree: given the length of the string, it's really incredible what he does.
