I'm sure it has happened to most of you! What are some of the tricks you have landed accidently, trying to do a different trick?
I've done an earth turn-bird just trying to do a normal earth turn a few times. Always baffles me I'm still able to balance the bird expecting it to be steady on the spike haha.
I really want to know what people with a few years experience have been able to pull off!
Do ridiculous and uncountable jumping sticks count?
Gunslinger bird! Could never do it again since the first accidental land.
Jumping Stick to Stilts.
I wanted to do the jumping stick one time, then double and at least the triple spin.... I made the 2 first tricks and then instead of the triple i made after 3 spins lunar! i tried it again... no chance, hahaha....

I can't think of anything else I've accidentally done, at the moment (although I'm sure there's been quite a few cases of accidental flukes haha) but I'll have to agree with Alex. I've done a few jumping stick miracles and a few universe turns (uncountable earth turns, ascending to about 20ft on a stringless kendama) haha.
During a late night practice I tried the double UFO and nailed it first time. I never tried it again, so I still have 100% consistency on that one :-)
Last night.. Hanging 1-turn Stilt! Of course it wasn't on camera, and of course no-one was watching, but still, it made me grin. :)
A while ago, I was attempting to do a lighthouse flip by making the ken hop and tapping the ridge of the bottom cup...
After a couple of close attempts I did something that almost made me defecate (it was that good).
Tapped the ridge to initiate the flip and in turn made the ken do a 540 flip to stilt!
That's NEVER happening again.
My always works as I want it to iPhone loaded the wrong discussion, as I meant to put that in 'what tricks have you done by accident?' but still...
I'm not typing that again :')

Sorted. :)

Sorry dude, when I try to play that mp4 back, I get blackness in Quicktime, and it won't open at all in Movist or MPlayer or VLC.
Is it just me?

May be a broken video, it wouldn't work for me either, Void.
i dont know why it wont play but it was just a uncountable jumping stick flips to lunar
Swing to Bird! what a miss of a simple swing in... and it kept perfect balance O_O
^ nice! sometimes birds just want to balance themselves it seems :P
Yesterday I was working behind my desk and I took my ken and threw a triple jumping stick while sitting down. I wasn't exactly trying or anything, but it landed perfectly...
Lighthouse to stilts. I was trying a normal falling down, obviously.
I was trying to do a lighthouse and ended up doing tap in
Never done tap in since
well, when i was at the Dama fest in Atlanta USA, in the werehouse,
all pro's were trying to land a squad UFO, 4 turns
after i have seen them sweating all over i wanted to give it a shot,
at my 5th attempt i nailded the trick,
since then i stay very good memories and never tried it again.
:)
Today's was a simple missed aeroplane that ended as a seemingly glued-in-position stilts; took me a good few seconds to comprehend what had just happened.
That was how I first realised that Stilts was possible. Mine was far from glued in though!
Last week I was getting down space walks and right when I caught the tama the ken went up and my string broke! I thought at first "God d*mn it!" then whilst it was flipping a good 7-8 feet up in the air I just held out the tama and it made it in...Life changing moment
Lunar flip to stilt. But it slowly slid off while I was in complete awe to balance it. Haha
Today, when i was doing ufo, after half spin string wrapped around ken, stretched, changed direction of ken's rotation, and by accident i spiked it. It was a bit surprising ;)
Just like KendAlex I landed a quad UFO randomly even when I was having trouble getting a double UFO. It shocked me so bad. I doubt Ill ever be able to do it again...
@Ian and @Yoda: Those both sound amazing! Bet you both wish you'd been filming!
I'm still getting consistent with all the beginner tricks such as earth turn.
I ended up accidentally doing an earth turn -->Bird --> Spike.
That gave me the confidence in doing more Birds.
Today, while practicing to get the hang of 1-Turn Airplane, I landed 1-Turn Dead Body > In by accident. Now I'm pondering whether to start practicing Dead Body; it's so much fun to do, even when accidentally.
Hah, nice. I've tried a few (deliberate) 1-Turn Dead Bodies, but can't seem to get the feel for them.
The flat ones, though, you should definitely have a few tries at. Soft landings are the key!
Hey Void, try doing 1-Turn Dead Bodies with an inward start with the Ken facing the same way for a pull-up Inward Lunar- they come up really smooth in my experience.
Was trying to do Whirlwind to Big
I caught the ken in the wrong position and spiked it. I was super excited. Same day I landed another trick for first time (not accidental). I landed my first lighthouse insta falling. Yep two new tricks on April fools...
this was yesterday where I live.
-Leo ;D
Well done,Leo.
I landed a 3-Turn Aero the other day when trying a 2-Turn.
I wanted to land a bat. I did so, only the tama didn't touch the ken. I don't know how it's called, bat wing walker?
Free Bat. Like Free Bird.
I just landed a reverse earth turn to bird. Obviously just going for the reverse earth turn, but it landed perfectly stable.
I have no idea what any of these tricks are called, however i did do this by accident. (Supposed to be grabbing the ken and doing a swing in type thing at the end)

I did a one turn crazy lighthouse and fall in by accident when trying to do a one turn lighthouse.

Nice!
I used to think Crazy Lighthouses were... too flukey to practice, but I saw people (I've forgotten exactly who) deliberately going for them last time I was in Japan, so I guess, just with any trick, all it takes is practice!

Apparently Cooper Eddy was consistent with them back in 2013, and he released a tutorial today, he calls it Leanhouse
