I'll start with a Happy New Year to all.

After a rough 2012 i think 2013 is the year of change.
I need to get to at least one meet this year, France if i can get my passport sorted in time.
Start filming more, i seem to not film enough, i film the odd trick here and there but need to get working on my second edit really.
Consistency, Will be a great help if ever going for a grading.
And lastly just have fun with it all, there is nothing better than landing a trick that is playing on your mind, that sense of accomplishment is the best part of kendama, still the reason I play.

. . . my first with trying tricks with the Kendama.

So, here's what I'd like to see out of the first year:

1. Have fun!
2. Get solid at the basic tricks.
3. Enter a competition (already have one lined up)
4. Toward the end of the year see what it would take to get certified.
    - Since I'm in the States, that might be a bit more difficult.
    - Perhaps something and be worked out by the Portland Juggling Festival
5. Enjoy the overall experience (the multitude of failures and successes) that comes with learning something new and challenging.

David Sallee (A photo contest counts as a competition, right? ;-)

Well first things first.

1. Stop being a lurker and become more part of the community.
2. Become more consistent with lighthouses and lunars.
3. Just overall improve and have fun doing it!

Particularly well done on number 1! ;) Welcome aboard.
