For those of you that don't know, there are grades 7-10 above the "normal" Dan gradings. These are awarded based on the things a player has done to promote kendama in various ways. [See

With his travels and interactions with foreign players, Cima has certainly helped to spread a lot of kendama culture and knowledge to the Western world.
