Good evening folks,

Time has come for me to make a kendama purchase, and to also learn Border's Balance.
I'm stuck between 3 options:
- KendamaUSA ProMod v4 / Kaizen
- KendamaUSA Kaizen silk cherrywood
- KROM x Autum bikes

Will a heavier mass ken (cherrywood) help, or will normal beech suffice?
Also, the Kaizen and ProMod v4 are the same kendama, no?

Appreciate your help on this.
What the trick?

The Void

Firstly a) I don't do this trick and b) I haven't tried either of those KUSA ones, and I've only tried the Autum one very briefly.

My suspicion is that a heavier ken would be *a little* less jittery. I'm also fairly sure that a stickier finish would help in learning this trick.

Over to you, and good luck!
If you don't want to BUY MY BOOKS 😉, then why not ask your local library to order them in, and read them for free? That would help too. Cheers!

Thanks!
Still practicing BB on the Ozora, but i would appreciate more feedback especially from BB veterans.

Natty tamas are the best for BBs, whatever the brand is. Concerning the weight, my preference goes to the lighter ones so beech wood is a good choice.
