Anyway - here's the next trick in the combo...
#111 - from dominant hand lighthouse
Push lighthouse up releasing tama, rotating Ken 180°
catch Ken in candle grip & land tama in end cup.

Now onto replacement trick...

#111 is from a lighthouse start, toss Ken forwards & into figure of 8, landing aeroplane to finish. In order to qualify, you must be wearing something (anything!) on your head.

Next trick is:
111. [from Lighthouse] > Figure-8 Aeroplane
- Start a Lighthouse
- Release the ken in a forward direction
- Swing the ken on one side of your body
- Then swing the ken on the other side of your body
- Catch the aeroplane
- You MUST wear at least something on your head
- Video to come

RULES
Trick Rules
- You cannot reply to your own trick.
- You must wait to re-enter until 5 other people have done a combo after you set one.
- You must wait to have your attempt verified by the previous setter before setting the next step.
- Use any competition-sized kendama.
- You should start the new transition from the finish position of the previous trick. i.e. You can just place the kendama into position. You don't have to do the previous move, but you can if you want to. But if so remember to...
- Hold the start and finish positions of the combo still for a couple of seconds please.

- Make sure you have adequate lighting. Please film in daylight if possible. Clips usually look very poor in artificial light.
- Please film in Landscape, not Portrait, not Square.

Isn't this a reverse Figure-8?  If I send the ken forwards my natural motion is to do the 8-figure the other way around. Or am I missing something?

I think you might be right. But I guess you can do a half-pirouette during the swing...

To my initial reading I didn't think it in reverse, so i'm assuming you add a half pirouette in.
