BKA is teaming up with the BYYA to bring you a kendama division at this year's UK Yo-Yo Nationals ("Nats").

BYYA 2015 Kendama Division

All lists are Speed Ladders
There will be a fee to enter each division. You may only enter 1 of the 3 kendama divisions.

BEGINNER

1. [Candle Grip] Around The Block (Big Cup, Small Cup, Base Cup)
2. Aeroplane > Fast Hand Base Cup (Start with the ken held)
3. Big Cup > Knee Bounce > Big Cup > Spike (Ken grip or Sara grip are both allowed)

INTERMEDIATE

1. Bird > Turn In > Base Cup (Hold the Bird still for "a moment". i.e. No "Instas!")
2. Stab > Centrifuge > Ken Grip > Earth Turn (Stab must enter the hole above the horizontal. (Otherwise it's a "Spike"!))
3. Trapeze > Aeroplane > Jumping Stick (Don't grip the string until AFTER the ken has begun to rise.)

ADVANCED

1. Stilt > Somersault In (Hook/twist starts are both allowed. Hold Stilt still for "a moment" before somersaulting. i.e. No "Instas"!)
2. Stab > Diving Top > Base Cup > Stab OR Spike (First 2 Stabs must be above the horizontal.)
3. Lunar > Swap Stab (Hold Lunar still for "a moment" before continuing. No "Instas!")
4. Big Cup > Turntable > Fast Hand Aeroplane > Jumping Stick

Yo-yo has lots of similarities with Kendama, it may spark some interest.

Probably going to enter the yoyo ladder for a laugh (can only get to 9 but hey, it's all fun right?)
But yeah, liking the dama ladder and looking forward to the event.
