I've been having a lot of trouble getting this trick down. Often, the ken will fling out of my fingers or I can't get the complete rotation of the revolver. I've had luck with when a kendama has much of the weight distributed at the end of the handle, but I would like to learn the trick through myself rather than having to use a certain kendama to land it. Are there any tips to help land this trick? Or tips on the other variations of the double revolver such as Swing Revolver, Revolver Flip, and Reverse Revolver? Thank you, I appreciate the help !

[For the 'unloaded' double gunslinger] After the first Sling has slung, you have to give a second (small) circular driving push with the finger.

For as much as I love revolver, I'm not really one for doubles.
Some friends who have practised doubles much more than I have told me that learning to just spin a ken repeatedly around your finger is a great way to get comfortable with doubles. I guess once you get good at endless spins, two is pretty simple (so long as you can catch it proper!)

Thorny

I think that the explanation of 'draw a small imaginary circle with your finger' is good advice, I do that for doubles and triples.

Alex Smith and Thorny,

Thank you for the responses! I apologize for a late reply to your guys' comments. Well, a day for Thorny! I've managed to learn them pretty well, different variations such as to bird or to nightingale. I've also manage to land a couple tricks. But one question that arose from this trick: Do you have trouble ever landing double/triple revolvers with certain kendamas? I noticed that the different balances do not allow for me to do the revolvers successfully. Any solutions or techniques to make up for the balances? And in advance, I apologize to monitors or admins if this comment is in the wrong thread. I'm kind of new to boards in general !

I feel that I improved a lot at spinning gunslingers last days. And I agree that just spinning the ken around the fingers is a great way to feel comfortable with the gunslinger. After several months practicing I finally managed the quadruple gunslinger (yesterday  ;D):
Keep working on it and double gunslingers will be yours soon  ;)

If you don't want to BUY MY BOOKS 😉, then why not ask your local library to order them in, and read them for free? That would help too. Cheers!

Thorny

Almost got a Quadslinger yesterday. I'll try again tomorrow!

Landed on double gunslingers and revolver, almost got the hang of them. It's time to try put triple gunslingers and revolvers or probably some of the variations of the double gunslingers and revolvers.
