Lets see your Kendama collection.
I only have a few, but im sure there are people out there with loads of great ones.
Here is mine so far: ;)

Have you tried opening and playing with one yet?
Kendama is more fun to play than it is to see.
Yes, of course i do. I have about 6 i play with. I'm addicted to playing with Kendama's.
Just I can admire the history and craftsmanship that goes into making them too. And I personal think they are beautiful to look at.
I don't see any difference from someone who makes a surf board by hand, lots of people would describe them as works of art.
Very true! haha
By the way, those Oozoras with the white packaging are quickly becoming somewhat collectible, in case you weren't aware. Worth hanging on to.
I'll see if I can post some pics of my collection soon

Here is mine as it stood after the BKO. Left to right:
Muji kendama - £1.80 bargain and impossible to catch in the cups
Kendama USA Colin Sander Pro Model - slightly defaced by an unknown artist
Blue Yumu
Natural Shin Fuji - One of my favourites
Red Deathray Fugen - An excellent late night purchase
Red TK16 - My first and only just retired
Gold Dragon Oozora - Won in sitting down K-E-N after the BKO
White Sunrise - My current take everywhere kendama
Green Oozora - The white package my kendama of choice in 2011
Red Taiyo - Won in the beginners division at the BKO in 2010
Purple Rokurosen - Probably my favourite for looking at
Sky blue Oozora - An old stringless friend
Seafoam Sweets Kendama - Smells really nice
Also a green Oozora in package won in the moshi kame at the 2011 BKO and a yellow Oozora (not pictured) staying fresh for the EKO.
You may be able to spot my copies of "Spike!" and "Knees!" in amongst the books too.
^ how long ago did you get your hands on the Deathray? I've been waiting on mine for about... 8 months now? :(
I think it was about March time. It travelled the 5000 odd miles to me pretty quickly too! It's a cool thing to have and non-kendama people seem to like it.

the Black with the straight light blue lines is a custom Sweets kendama
All the kendamas in my house last week:
That red play kendama looks like a mini size. Or has it been played extensively?
I'll try to get my 'collection' up in a couple of days, I live in two places at once so my collection is scattered...
The red Play is a standard (2011) model. Unfortunately the cross-piece has slipped down on this particular one, which is why it looks a different size. The only 'junior' sized one in the pic is the KC Basic II (white).

Stopped in at Ruisch's yesterday, got to see some of his collection. Every colour of Mugen! Awesome haha, lots of other cool kendamas too. Plus I added one or two new pieces to his, and got a Ruisch custom as a gift to add to mine. Such a fun night, thanks again Alex!
Today stopped off at the Juggling shop in Amsterdam, after having some lunch with David. Again a great time, some really cool kendamas in the shop. Anyone visiting Amsterdam should be sure to stop in! Kristin & picked up a couple of the new Sunrise designs, a metallic performer and an OG green. Gonna find a park to go try em out in now!
thanks you too Alex , for visiting my crib, it was a realy awesome evening, there are not that much kendama players that can say , i did a BBQ kendama session with mr. Terra :)
i forgot to show you the rest of the collection, you missed 120 pieces, sorry.

Actually, if you click your sig pic, it gets bigger.
And yeah, prizes for EKO are all packed. :)
ok now I have a reason to practice that awfull yoyo airplane thingy :)
Don't I feel left out. I'm not even going to bother taking a picture.
I have 2 Sunrises in horrible condition.
One Ozora Dragon in even worse condition.
Ozora Rabbit good condition.
Shin Fuji Red in great condition.
I'm not a collector. I'm thirteen and I had to get my mom to help me buy these off the Internet. I don't have that kind of money. I use all them for a few years until they are too torn up to use any more. They're probably worth around 7.00$ each (not that I'm selling them, just saying.)

i have: ozora's, sunrise, kendamaUSA (pro models and tribute), terra pill, the stove (sourmash) and some exclusive and special kendama's!

Dimensions: that's a nice little collection: one "premium", 3 "players" and a few "extras".
mreasyguy: Whooah! You're fast catching me up. I wonder if you and I have the biggest UK collections? (That's NOT an invitation or suggestion that it should be a competition! :-) )
Haha! I think you're still quite a bit ahead of me. The back row in the first pic is retired kens. A lot of old ozooras in there. Oh and a smile kendama hidden in there too! The front row I use mainly. This past year I seemed to have nearly tripled my collection!
I've been on this forum for a little while now and haven't posted my collection yet so here it is:
From left to right (top row): Blue Taiyo Ozora, OG Red Ozora on a newer ken, White Terra painted Ozora(one of my favorites), Sourmash purple Raisin (Ozora), OG Marine Blue Ozora, Sparkling green Mugen Musou, Pearl White Home Grown Sweets, Green Sweets Atack, Sweets Marble Aisuru w/ a white ken, Sweets matte seafoam with a custom leather holster.

Really, really nice kendama.) New Orange Premium Ozora, Quad-split Krom tama on a brand new Ozora ken, White Premium Ozora tama on a Quad-split Krom ken, Zack Yourd 2013 pro model tama on a tk16 ken, Yellow Ozora tama on a Zack Yourd 2013 ken, Purple Zen (Kendamaco), Terra Pill (Cherry), Terra Pill (Blue)
Update on my collection.
Looking good there Void!
I'd forgotten about this thread, looking back through the posts I have to admit my collection has grown a bit since the good ol' single natural Ozora days ha ha. :)
I'll try and get a pic up this week.
Here we are,
there's a few missing - another metal mini, a krom micro (from the BKO), a Yomega (prize from the BKA, lent to a friend) and a Krom Invert Zebra (still in the post!).
(http://s29.postimg.org/z6pt3hbrr/KENDAMA_COLLECTION.png) (http://postimage.org/)

And here's the same collection with my spare Ozoras added:

Welcome to the world of shelfies.
Thanks. :) I had to custom create the "shelf" to get them all in. Quality woodwork there ;)
This is my collection
So, you like blue and red, Wiktorwiki? :)
Kev - yellow overload!
Plus a couple of custom painted tamas there?
My collection isn't much of anything yet, since I've just started, but here it is, in chronological order too ;)
#1 - Toysmith Bamboo Kendama (http://www.toydoo.com/prodimages/1994g.jpg) - Despite being a bad brand and a very, very difficult kendama to play, I will give Toysmith credit for at least introducing me to the fanbase of Kendama. The biggest issue was that both the Ken and Tama were glossed over, so it made catching very hard as the Tama slipped off the cups easily. I will say that attempting to learn from this Kendama did make trying a real one much easier, by the time I had gotten my second Kendama the tricks were more natural. This one is most likely one I'll honestly just throw away.
#2 - Kendama USA Tribute (triple blue stripes) (http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0286/5338/products/Kendama_USA_Tribute_Triple_Stripe_White_Blue_2_1000x1000_large.jpg?v=1389651931) - My current Kendama. I sent Kendama USA an e-mail asking about what would be best to try for someone just starting out, and they recommended a tribute, and I honestly really like this one. I'm still not the best at tricks but it's a heeeeck of a lot better than that Toysmith one.
#3 - Kaleb Kendama Rubberized (green and black) (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31Yw53AjW3L.jpg) - I wanted to try a rubberized Kendama, and had some Amazon money from Christmas, so I took a look and just ordered this one. I couldn't find much info at all about Kaleb Kendama, so I figured I'd give them a try. I literally just ordered this one today so I don't have it yet for review.
My collection update

Sweets Voodama "Swamp Monster"
Mini KROM keychain
GreenTerra Pill - opened but still in box
Cup and ball
Yep a fair few more than when I last posted
-Rob
Dimensions
Are you positive that KROM Mahogany is V2? Cause I'm pretty sure Mahogany wasn't part of the V2 line but is in the upcoming KROM Deluxe V3 lineup.
Regardless, how's it play? Is the Mahogany heavy/light? Holding up well? I wish to know. ;)
Also, how'd you manage to get your hands on it anyway? :O
Crab Spy I won it at BKO so your gonna have to ask BKA or The Void or even message some of the KROM guys who supplies it, about that. I just assumed it was a V2
But anyhow it is a very good jammer and is pretty much your cup of tea for everything, lunar balance a little off but no where near impossible. Birds and stilts sit nicely, and the spike is up too a good beating!
-Rob
Yep, it's a pre-release, Rob. You got one early. And... as it turned out, by a lucky mistake, as it was intended for something else, but the message didn't get through in time until after we'd given them away. Lucky you! :)
Current collection -

Wow, these collections. So many Kendama!
I'm half tempted to upload my "collection." I have one, yep, one kendama. It's a krom one, i picked it purely cos of aesthetics and have no idea how it compares to anything else as it's the only one i've ever tried.
ooh, i also have a book! Does one kendama and a book count as a collection?
sure it does!
Back Row:Envelope of Stickers, String Packs, Grind Machine Yo-Yo, 3 Kendama Books, Custom Painted Monk Kendama, 2 KROM Holders
Middle Row (Left to Right): Cooks Custom Maroon Sunburn Kendama USA, Neon Green Tribute, Blue Tribute
Front Row (Left to Right): Colin Sanders Pro Model, Mint Sweets aTack, Red Stained Sweets Focus, Custom Painted Ozora
Not Included: MKO t-shirt & Kendama USA t-shirt

Behold, my one lonely kendama.
It's a shame it's so filthy now. It was so vivid and beautiful and wholesome and wooden when i got it. Now it's just... dull. My man suggested i lightly sanded it down, probably with one of the less abrasive heads on his dremel, but I don't like the idea of me taking too much off.
How do you clean a kendama? Or is it just a case of don't let it get this filthy in the first place?
also, @dimensions that "KROM Deluxe (V2) "Claw" on the bottom row is GORGEOUS.
Don't sand it!
Try a pencil eraser...?
oh gosh! that actually works if i use enough elbow grease! pro tip :)
even more pro. use kneaded rubber instead of a standard brick eraser.
you can find one in the same isle at an arts & crafts store. for a dollar
but honestly, what your kendama looks like is broken-in woodgrain. the oils and funk from your hands have worked their way into the wood and formed a grippy barrier. this may be "dirty" but is definitely more playable than a smoothed/slippery woodgrain
and i love bamboo damas. they take forever to break in but once they do; bamboo turns into one of the most durable kendamas with a satisfying CLACK
Ah, interesting you say clack, as that's what I always call it. Although as I've been getting better it has turned into more of a click.
The noise is the main thing that drew me to kendama, so I'm glad I picked me a nice one! Like I say I picked it cos it was pretty.
Also, it never even occurred to me that different types of wood would make different noises! Maybe I do need to expand my collection...
This is mine. Left to right: Klack Custom, Sanded yomega Pro, Kenco Glow green jumbo, Sweets voodama, and terra pill.
This is my 'collection' so far, in order of preference: a mandhandled enjyu withouts its JKA sticker, a crisp keyaki, and a totally useless Play.
On it's way are both Kaizen Padauk and the padauk proto, and from Krom a khaya mahogany one.
And yeah, I love nattys in case that wasn't obvious.
[edit: I JUST realized I have been colour coordinating my strings with the wood. OCD-alert?)
Here is my Ken-board. 1 viking and 1 krom deluxe is missing :)
Been playing since April on and off. Starter to play a bit more when Uni started up again and at the time I only had my Keyaki Ozora.
This is where I am now.
Ozora Keyaki
Premium White Ozora (Battered to shreds)
Red TK16
and Krom Viking Zebra (Odd Stripes as Conventional as I've Noticed)

My little collection so far. Only really using the ozora and the krom at the front. The quad split and yellow are to replace those once they are trashed and the padauk dragon was my first kendama. Starting to find myself wanting to collect ozoras after playing with one. Also have a light blue in the packaging. Oh and also my daughters krom mini making an appearance ;)

Okay, so this is my (small) collection. It has my royal kendama, which is my main jammer, and my catchy air kendama, which is my go-to for lighthouses. Here's my collection, sans 2. I've only been back in the UK for a short time, so a few of them are still quite new. The boxed Oozy on the right I've had for about 6 years and never opened it. The gold/black dragon is my wife's kendama, and the 2 at the front both belong to my daughter.
Missing in action : My royal blue Royal and a walnut Sunrise (both at my parents' house).
This is my most recent update:

My goodness that's a lot! Wow!
I had a little bit of a tidy-up the other day, so have put all my kendamas in roughly the same place. Decided to have a recount...

Turns out I'm up to 155[nb]Includes all my playable kendamas, of any size. Does not include a few lone tamas. As well as that, I have ~8 "workshop kendamas", and also some stock.[/nb] now. Oops. Probably means I'm still ahead of you,
@mreasyguy?!
NOT that it's a competition. 155 isn"t
that many, right? I mean, it's less than 13 a year.... :D
I forgot the "emergency kendama" that lives in my car. 156!
Here's a pic (forgive the slight distortions on the panoramas):
Yep I got a bit of catching up to do it seems.
Did a shelf clean today, counted 123.
Here is most of them, there is 6 pictures so as i couldn't fit them all as 1!:

And I forgot these two, so 158. And Ive remembered another, which I can't find right now, but should be hiding in a box or suitcase somewhere, so potentially 159.
123 is a nice number, I'm afraid i am just around 30 myself, if I include the 10 or so I have for workshops.
We're having a spot of work done in the office, so this little bunch of clickees get a temporary home. I forget how heavy a bunch of kendamas can be. Goodness crate-tious!

Finally got the gang back together. Dusted them off, and even clicked a couple for old times' sake. 161 playable kendamas - not counting bilboquets, cup-and-balls, pills, or other oddities.
