Oops, we seem to have posted this before K.USA have had a chance to add them to their site! :o They'll be up there soon, we're sure.... See?
Now at a lower US price!
I have recently purchased these books and I must say they are great! Useful tips on the standard tricks, combined with variations you never thought of. There are also a lot of tricks I never even tried before (mostly in 'Knees'). In particular I enjoyed the string/knot tricks I saw Donald Grant do but couldn't make out from a video.
You will definitely learn something new from these, and in addition it's just a great library of possible tricks, even if you already know how to do them. The order of tricks in 'Spike' can also be helpful when teaching new clickers (although you could persuade them to just buy the book :)).
Great work Donald and Void!
Thanks for the kind words, Hans. I'm glad you enjoyed them. :)
Edit: Quoted you on the website too! :)
Any plans for an ebook version any time?
Would be really great to always have loaded in my phone wherever I am.
Very much enjoyed the pdf sample btw.
Didn't Donald illustrate a juggling book a while back?

Apart from http://donaldgrantdiabolo.wordpress.com/books-and-dvds/ (http://donaldgrantdiabolo.wordpress.com/books-and-dvds/) ? Possibly... Donald?
Ah yes , it was those Diablo books I was thinking of!
Regards a PDF or ebook - I'd gladly pay the same price as the paper edition, just prefer it as a) fits in your pocket and b) stays flat and open on table unlike a book so easier to read while playing.
Hey Kev, Guilty as charged; yes, I was responsible for the series of diabolo books (still available at all good stockists!) Doing the kendama books also meant I had to learn to draw hands ;) ! Glad you like 'em, oh, and welcome to the forum!
Cheers, Donald
Thanks Donald. I know a lot of people with those diablo books. From what I've seen of the kendama books looks like you've done another excellent job. :)
Right then! Spike & Knees both ordered -
Can't wait :)
Thanks Donald & Void.
Both books arrived today, nice and swift delivery (thanks).
Just got to say, they are simply brilliant!
Both have incredibly clear descriptions, easy to follow instructions and charming and helpful artwork.
If anyone has any hesitation about picking these up - just do it! They're a quality item, nicely produced and jam packed full of trick that will probably keep me going forever.
Such good value for money too.
Highly recommended, 5 stars all round. Support the Kendama crew!
:)
Thanks for the kind words, Kev. Glad they arrived nice and quickly, and you're enjoying them. Cheers!
Just ordered them, can't wait til they come
Could be nice if it was possible to buy them as a pdf download...

Void and Donald have been at it again. Look for this by the end of the summer.
Need. One. Now.
Oooh, it is a trilogy, like Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (yes, Star Wars IS a trilogy) or the Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy (famous trilogy of five)

Are you sure? We haven't received confirmation of that. We did have to relist on ebay, as by mistake we only put one copy up for sale the first time! ::) Can you check you ordered from the (new) link above, and not (maybe a cached copy of) the old link? Or perhaps you ordered it from Amazon... who don't have any yet! :)

A pleasure! You shouldn't have too much trouble selling out of these, seems like there has been lots of interest and with Christmas coming up too - get 'em while they're hot folks!
Just got a dispatch notification, I'm away at the moment but it should be waiting for me by the time I get back fingers crossed.
Thanks for speedy dispatch!

I returned from my travels today and found Click! waiting for me when I got home.
First off, thanks to Donald, Void and the guest writers for another excellent addition to the series - it's great!
Second, damn you all - it's now going to take me forever to get up and down stairs thanks to 'The Staircase Race'. ;)
If you've not already ordered this folks don't hesitate, highly recommended. Do it now!
i have, cant wait.
Will let you all know what I think about it when it gets here
Took me quite some time, but I ordered it today as an early birthday present. Can't wait!
Packed, ready to post in an hour or so. Thanks!
Got it in the mail today, adressed to 'Hans Nickmans, 2nd dan'. You really know how to make a man's day. Thanks BKA!
Did your had a picture?
Because mine was, and it was awesome :)
You mean the kendama drawing on the back of the envelope? Yeah, I got that :)
Mine was doing a stilts :)
I've read it back to cover and it's just great. There's a great mix between original, new, quirky and harder tricks. And on top of that it opens a whole world of combinations, variations and creativity. You can dip in at any point and come across something you've never tried before. This will keep me busy for quite some time.
Congrats Void and Donald
