Thinking of setting up a bit of a jam session up in the Midlands who would be interested in coming before I put it forward
I'm in cv47 just out side Coventry

I would be intrested (I live in telford) :)
I'd try to come, if I was free on the day.

Bristol. Little bit of a trek, but managable.
Thanks
@BKA, also a bit of a trek for me but a possibility - once a date and time has been proposed I'll see if I can make it.
Did you have a (rainproof) venue in mind,
@Unichuck1 ? Or just a "meet in the park" type event?
Not sure yet I'm actually moving house over near Northampton very soon so be a different place altogether but I'm not sure where would be easier for people to get to

And I thought about a park but I thought something cooler like a castle get some good filming

Yep, castle or similar would be good for scenery. But then you have to consider entance fees, if relevant.
I was just thinking, if you're going for "outdoors", then sooner (September) would be better than later, weather-wise.

Very true I will have a look and see where I think would be good

Ideas:
I saw this place on TV once, and thought it'd be a great spot to meet/film: http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/witley-court-and-gardens/
But, it's probably only easy to get to by car, and does have a (not too expensive) entrance fee, and is maybe a bit further West than you were thinking.
http://www.coventry.gov.uk/caludoncastlepark is free, but not so scenic.
http://www.coventry.gov.uk/info/136/coombe_country_park/498/coombe_country_park is free (£5 all-day parking) and looks pretty. Might be a winner?

@Unichuck1 Cool. I'm currently free for any Sept weekend day. Don't know if
@rhys_goes_peace or
@John would prefer a Sat or Sun, or any particular weekend?
Hey guys. Super sorry (I do really want to go) but I probably won't be able to go to the jam since it's too far away for my parents to quickly drop me off and pick me up. Hopefully in the future there'll be jams nearer to Telford. Thanks for setting up the jam
@Unichuck1 !
I think it would actually be too much of a journey for me. I'd love to come for a jam but travelling for over 2 hours to do so is just a bit much I'm afraid! If anything was happening a bit further north (Sheffield, Derby, Nottingham, Burton-on-Trent, Leicester etc) then that would definitely be more doable. Hope you can find some more people and make it happen!
@rhys_goes_peace @John Fair enough, guys. Oh well.
