Title: Bird variation
Post by: fredCP on 03 December, 2014, 17:39:41
Hi guys,

Does a Bird with the tama not touching the spike have a particular name ? I landed this variation for Big Bird and Small Bird, and I'm still trying for Bird fly over the Valley. I find it really fine looking and delicate, as Wingwalker / Wingrunner tricks.

"Lucky"? ;-)

We've heard "Freebird". You could say that technically it is a Wingwalker (just at an extreme angle).

I personally call them "no-perch birds" but I guess it's not the most snappy of titles...

Freebird is a nice name indeed. I hope it will finally fly over the Valley, even if it's a lucky one  ;)

I've heard full perch bird, batwing (though that might be a different trick) and no touch bird

The few people I know who throw them in from time to time call it 'Freebird', I think independently of eachother. So maybe that's the name to go with. I find it much easier to land a Small Bird in this manner than normal Bird.

I suppose Alex Ruisch can do this at will (see his latest video)

I guess so ! His latest video is so great, it brought me to practise Wingwalker again, and then to try these Freebirds. I agree with you, the milky oolong, concerning Small Freebird.
