Cool Beans!

Ok For the next one I have had a good think and feel this is doable.

Weak hand throw to strong hand insta-jumping stick.

The way this works is you throw the ken with the tam on top to the side, the tama will slightly slide down off the spike as it gets upside down where you will then catch the tama with your strong hand and flick forward to make the ken instantly do a jumping stick.

Hope this all makes sense.

Next trick is:
71. Weak hand Spike > Strong hand insta-jumping stick.
Throw the ken (with the tama on top) to the side, the tama will slightly slide down off the spike as it gets upside down where you will then catch the tama with your strong hand and flick forward to make the ken instantly do a jumping stick.

Trick Rules
- You cannot reply to your own trick.
- You must wait to re-enter until 5 other people have done a combo after you set one.
- You must wait to have your attempt verified by the previous setter before setting the next step.
- Use any competition-sized kendama.
- You should start the new transition from the finish position of the previous trick. i.e. You can just place the kendama into position. You don't have to do the previous move, but you can if you want to. But if so remember to...
- Hold the start and finish positions of the combo still for a couple of seconds please.
Video Rules (To help for a nicer compilation video)
- Make sure you have adequate lighting. Please film in daylight if possible. Clips usually look very poor in artificial light.
- Please film in Landscape, not Portrait.
Successful entrants get put in the prize draw. Mr. Tiller, Sonicpearse, The Void, Dimensions & mreasyguy must sit out round 71.
Good luck everyone!

I had a go at this. Tricky, can't seem to get the right timing on the insta-push. Also, not sure which direction to exit the weak hand from. Left or right both seem possible. Luckily, I'm not allowed to do it, so I don't have to get frustrated. :-)
If you don't want to BUY MY BOOKS 😉, then why not ask your local library to order them in, and read them for free? That would help too. Cheers!

*BUMP!*

Anyone?

Good call. I love the Endless Combo.

My problem here was not quite getting my head around the trick, any chance of an alternative / additional explanation from someone?

Great, ta Adam!

Ok so endless combo #72:-
tama grip > landing strip (no sleeves!)

to explain - from tama grip: attempt a jumping stick, the ken spins 270 degrees and lands your naked fore arm (spike pointing towards the inside of your elbow). STALL FOR A COUPLE OF SECONDS - NO SLIDING OFF!

Then an awesome pose and you set the next trick from an interesting position. Gottit?

I think I did it?

You were not going to leave an easy trick sitting there... I did tried it a bit. Didn't land it, but it looked definitively possible.

Nice and clean, accepted!  I wanted to set a trick that would leave my successor a chance to get creative from a slightly off starting point.  Your turn Sam!

SamB

That's too much pressure so I'm going to pass the buck...

Starting from strong arm landing strip (no sleeves spike facing you) somersault to weak arm landing strip.
In my case, ken flat on right forearm, spike facing me, throw ken for a full somersault to left arm, flat, spike facing me, hold still for a couple of seconds, no sliding, tama in right hand the whole time.

Not as easy as I thought but totally doable!
