Did you check the youtube description?
Quote①天地二段 tenchinidan heaven and earth
②うずしお灯台 uzushiotoudai Eddying Current Lighthouse
③太陽系一周 taiyoukeiissyuu around the solar system

But we might tweak some of them to:

4. Hanging Pirouette
6. (Ken grip) Base Cup Scoop Up > Curl > Spike

Thank you for the ideas!!

Yes of course I checked the YouTube and some of them does not make sense or are not commonly used in the western world (because these descriptions Mukai san perhaps tried to translate were directly translated from Japanese.. and English names for tricks use completely different naming so...)

These are helpful, BKA, thank you so much!

The Kansai (Osaka) branch of the JKA would like to invite all foreign players to come to the W.K.C.
They can provide homestays for visitors, to save on the cost of hotels.

We will provide a contact email address soon. See below!

Oh, of course! thanks Yoko!
We were talking with Nakanishi-san and Hidenori-san yesterday about it. It would be great to go back.....

Yes please Void!! The cost may not be as much as you may think! Honestly!

The Tuesday the 23rd September is a national holiday and some JKA members are taking Monday off to make that weekend a long one, so they will be able to transport us wherever we go from Friday (arrival day) to Tuesday (the final - social day).

So far: -

Friday 19th: Please arrive at Osaka International Airport (KIX).  We'll go to an elementary school or such, and show kids what you do with kendama and play together.

Saturday the 20th: Pre-Festa event and freestyle gaming sessions with attendees (overseas players must attend this in order to be able to attend Festa's main competition Fujiwara Cup). Grading exams can be taken.

Sunday the 21st: The main Kendama Festa. Various tournaments including freestyle, by levels, etc.

Monday 22nd: Social event - going to Universal Studio attraction (theme park)

Tuesday 23rd: Going to Kyoto (sightseeing) - visit one of the ancient capital of Japan. Your Kendama will be so mixed well in the scene of typical, traditional Japanese scenes.

On the 23rd night is the farewell party / evening dinner.

All you need to pay for is your lunches and add hoc eating occasions in the evening. When you are eating at your homestay homes, the meals are free.

If you have any further questions, please ask!

Thank you!

Good luck and good fun, guys and gals!
If you don't want to BUY MY BOOKS 😉, then why not ask your local library to order them in, and read them for free? That would help too. Cheers!
