That makes 15.
I told Shalafi that I would not participate if there are more than 15 participants in this year's Outlink. Just to given others a shot.
So Indeed, I have declined this years Outlink.

That saying. @The Void
I challenge you to a Royalist Battle to see who gets the furthest, I would happily ask @shalafi if he can judge me like everyone else but I will not accept any prizes for this. This will be just for fun.
So Void do you accept?

Vid coming Soon

So, just to make sure everyone reads the clarifications.

Submit any failed attempt.
If nobody completes the combo, the one that gets further is the winner.
There is a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, so even if someone is further than you, please submit anyway.

If there's a tie I'll use the order of acceptance through the rounds as tie breaker (*)

Anything over 3/4 of a rotation is good for a 360 rover.
You are allowed grip adjustments. You are NOT allowed to touch the string, but you can wobble the kendama to get it out of the way.

@fiddletriks @cello_91 @Jak @Dimensions @oesterzilla @The Void

(*) It will be in a similar fashion as for F1 or MotoGP. Edit: I actually just created a spreadsheet for it :)

Edit: I forgot to say that I have faith in you.

I wasn't going to share this because, well, the poor lighting for one thing, but also cause i feel i can do better, but this is the last one i tried in an hour's practise before i had to give up and give some much need attention to my daughter. However, with Void showing his progress i'll share mine.

I WILL get this (in a nicer location with good lighting)!

Benjamin's tutorial makes it seem much more a simple trick than it actually is.

@jak I think you'll get there :-)

Kudos for being able to play with a toddler around. It's harder than it looks, I had my god share of that

Although my Rovers are appalling, here's some tips I gathered in a practice yesterday:

(for righties)
Start with your wrist facing away from you and move the Mendham and your whole body to the left
Move your whole body over to the right and flick your wrist towards you
The ken should spin at about a 45⁰ angle, in relation to where it was.
Scoop the ken back round to in front of you, by moving your whole body back to the left
Balance and cheer!

Just remember, this trick is less on the wrist and more in the body. if the ken is going wild, use less wrist.

Help anyone?
That all saying, I still suck at rovers :(

@Dimensions that was amazing... the 2nd lunar is a very close call to be still for 1 second. It is in contact for longer than 1 second, and the relative positions of ken and tama are mantained for longer than 1 second, but the overall lunar is not still in relation to the body for 1 second, more like 700ms. A very close call. Given the difficulty of this round I decided to have an open hand and call it good. Accepted!

Same level of judgement is obviously granted to everyone.
